General Summary
This position will serve in a support role for the Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Reporting functions within the Finance Department. The Treasury Senior Analyst will assist with a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with the financial close. This position will maintain a comprehensive view and gain experience in the various disciplines within Finance and their inter-relations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Treasurer in overall balance sheet management. Perform analytics and run queries to discern the nature and root cause of balance sheet and income statement variances in support of the Treasury function. Assist in developing and recommending balance sheet and risk management strategies to help the Bank manage liquidity, interest rate risk, and earnings targets.
- Other Treasury related tasks (report preparation, liquidity and capital related analyses, loan and deposit analyses, reconcilements, data management, etc.) as routinely assigned by the Treasurer.
- Access reports from Darling Consulting Group to maintain Liquidity Stress Test reporting and monitor various Deposit Modules for trends, competitive rates, and deposit strategies.
- Monitor pledging for the state of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, repurchase agreements, and Federal accounts that require pledging.
- Submit monthly/quarterly loan data to the FHLB/FRB to support our collateral availability.
- Perform budget and forecast input for both balance sheet and income statement. Support Treasurer in planning for balance sheet and net interest income.
- Develop various schedules and reports in support of financial statement preparation (10Q/10K: MD&A tables and financial statement footnotes) as assigned by the Treasurer.
- Assist with monitoring of market risk limits and developing additional metrics as required, commensurate with potential new and emerging risks to the Bank’s asset/liability and interest rate risk strategies.

Associated Duties
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.
Participates as a member of various committees, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required
The following KSAs are usually acquired through college education and a minimum of five years related banking experience:
- Understanding of balance sheet management principles and practices
- Understanding of budgeting and forecasting practices
- Understanding of financial statement preparation
- Exceptional computer skills, modeling/Excel/Longview a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work with all levels of staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of personal integrity
- Familiar with bond investing
- Commitment to deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from an accredited college required. MBA or graduate banking school, a plus. Five years of banking experience preferred.
Working Conditions

- Occasional overtime required as needed to complete job responsibilities and projects assigned;
- In the rare instance of a major or extensive natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic occurrence, or other disruption within our footprint, it may be necessary for associates to relocate or telecommute before, during or after, to ensure business continuity.
