The Physician Engagement Specialist introduces, promotes and monitors health value initiatives as it relates to participation and adoption by network providers. This role is responsible for relaying population and member-focused clinical information to physicians for participation in concepts, with the goal of earning physician buy-in. They will be responsible to design, create and conduct educational meetings, and bring opportunities to physicians that will drive value in health care services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working directly with physicians/practices to identify opportunities and support change required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- In-depth knowledge of the health care market and ability to identify the needs/concerns of health care providers required.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including pro-active communication of changes and progress; and completing projects on-time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data; design workflows and procedures. Ability to interpret data and target proper markets to maximize revenues.
- Outstanding customer service skills, including demonstrated ability to manage difficult client situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and adapt to changing conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Requires significant local travel to visit providers. Must have valid driver’s license, current inspection and appropriate insurance coverage in effect at all times.
CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
