Program Coordinator
Capitol Management Group is an association management firm that provides services to trade and professional organizations. We are seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to carry out the objectives and goals for our clients. This position will require a flexible personality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with a diverse client base.
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of marketing and promotional concepts. The position will collaborate with staff and clients to develop and implement events and programs that accomplish the goals of the client organizations. Position is located in Lincoln, Ne. Some overnight travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan educational and promotional events, including continuing education and certification programs, developing materials, and working with locations and venues for small meetings and regional tradeshows.
- Develop content for communications, print, direct, and digital media for internal and external distribution.
- Engage and network with the stakeholders in sponsorship opportunities to increase their goals and support the organizations.
- Collaborate with fiscal and membership staff to ensure positive results and growth.
- Two years of association-related education or experience is required. Preference for individuals with an understanding of agriculture.
