Manager to oversee and manage the operations of a vibrant, active single-family home community in Sarasota, FL. This role will also include responsibilities as a Lifestyle Manager, ensuring residents enjoy an enriched, engaging experience while maintaining the community’s standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for community building, and a proactive approach to both administrative duties and resident engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Association Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with community rules, regulations, and governing documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners and residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain the community's facilities, including the clubhouse, common areas, and recreational amenities.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work for the common areas, working closely with vendors and contractors.
- Prepare and manage the community’s annual budget, working with the Board of Directors to ensure financial health and transparency.
- Facilitate regular Board of Directors meetings and communicate regularly with residents regarding community updates and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain records related to inspections, incident reports, and other essential documentation.
Lifestyle Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, programs, and activities that promote engagement and a sense of community among residents.
- Develop and maintain a calendar of social events, fitness programs, educational workshops, and other lifestyle offerings to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Establish relationships with local businesses and vendors to provide residents with discounts and exclusive offerings.
- Create and distribute regular newsletters, event flyers, and other communications to keep residents informed about upcoming activities and community news.
- Foster a sense of community by creating opportunities for residents to connect, network, and enjoy their shared spaces.
Resident Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between residents, the community’s board, and service providers to maintain open and clear communication.
- Handle resident concerns or disputes with professionalism and fairness, promoting a positive living environment for all.
- Organize and lead resident committees or task forces for special community projects and initiatives.
- Encourage community involvement and participation through various channels, ensuring all residents feel valued and included.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Community Association Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a residential community or property management environment.
- Strong knowledge of homeowners association operations, financial management, and common area maintenance.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute social and recreational events and programs for diverse age groups and interests.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with residents, board members, and vendors effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address challenges and resolve conflicts in a diplomatic manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, while also being a team player and collaborating with staff and the board of directors.
- Proficiency with property management software, office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office), and social media platforms is a plus.
Work Schedule: This position requires a full-time commitment, with hours tailored to meet the needs of the community, including some evenings or weekends to attend meetings or community events.

Pay: $65,905.00 - $69,280.00 per year
