The Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to take the next step in their career. In this role, you’ll support daily operations, guide team members, and ensure a seamless workflow. This is a great opportunity to grow within Capstone and work towards a management position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Freight Operations: Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and seamless transitions.
• Optimize Supply Chains: Monitor logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve performance.
• Communicate Effectively: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Schedule and Track Shipments: Use logistics software to plan, monitor, and update shipment status in real time.
• Problem-Solve: Handle unexpected challenges like delays or route changes with quick thinking and proactive solutions.
• Maintain Documentation: Ensure accurate records of shipments, invoices, and reports for compliance and audit purposes.
• Collaborate: Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and managers to ensure a unified approach to logistics operations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure team participation 
• Perform safety observations and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced and physical environment.
• Ability to lift and carry 25-75 lbs. (varies based on materials handled).
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination is preferred.
