This pivotal role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills to support the firm's operational excellence and long-term growth. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring the appropriate allocation of human and technical resources to meet the needs of attorneys, staff, and clients.Manage facilities, including coordinating maintenance, overseeing office appearance, and planning for space optimization and leasehold improvements.Facilitate internal office moves, ensuring seamless transitions of furniture and equipment to support attorneys’ and staff requirements.Human Resources Administration : Lead recruitment efforts for staff and paralegals, conducting interviews, onboarding, and performance evaluations.Administer employee benefit programs and ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and other regulatory requirements.Provide coaching and performance management support to staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with the firm’s strategic objectives.Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for office supplies, equipment, archiving services, and other operational needs.Ensure cost-effective procurement processes and maintain high standards for service quality.Collaborate with attorneys and senior management to streamline operational processes and support legal workflows.Maintain compliance with legal industry regulations and best practices in office management.Partner with leadership on strategic planning initiatives, aligning operational goals with the firm’s overall mission and vision.Oversee budgeting and financial controls for the office, ensuring responsible management of resources and adherence to budgetary guidelines.Qualifications Proven experience in office management within a law firm or legal environment.Strong knowledge of human resources administration, including compliance with ADA, FMLA, and Workers’ Comp requirements.Expertise in vendor negotiations, contract management, and facilities oversight.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with a focus on employee relations and team development.Strategic thinker with experience in planning and aligning operations with organizational goals.Proficiency in budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced legal environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
