We are looking for Stress Engineers!!
In the role of Technology Analyst, Stress Engineering, your responsibilities include:
- Performing Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis for Aero structures.
- Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures.
- Experience in both metallic and composite structures/components.
- Provide technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage.
- Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems.
- Participate in review meetings with Client, Customer and Suppliers.
- Engineering Stress Report Generation and Review.
- Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work, laydown the execution methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet the customer requirements.
Location for this position is Wichita, KS
Work visa: No restrictions- H1B, F1 OPT will work
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering .
- At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer.
- Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures, Nacelle and EBU systems.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards.
- Experience in Metallic and Composites structural analysis.
- Experience in load, stress calculations and preparing technical reports.
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools (PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP) and Boeing Specific tools.
- Experience in static, fatigue and damage tolerance calculations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in MRB and SRM.
- Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia.
Salary : $43 - $48
