Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Create and prepare reports and presentations for management regarding purchasing activities and forecasts.
- Assist in managing the procurement budget and forecasting future purchasing needs.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to inform purchasing decisions.
- Enter purchase orders with standard or special terms as needed.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- 2 years of professional experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain analysis.
- Experience with procurement software.
