Job Title : Business Development Center Representative
Reports To : BDC Manager
Job Description (Key Responsibilities) :
- Answer incoming calls and schedule service / sales appointments off those calls.
- Log ALL customer attempts and comments into Vin Solutions and schedule follow up calls.
- Confirm scheduled appointments.
- Answer and assist in answering online chat request daily.
- Respond to customer service inquiries by inbound calls, outbound call, emails, text and chat.
- Re-schedule “no show” customer appointments.
- Book appointments based on maintenance schedule per brand and in accordance with company policies and manufacturers specifications.
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technology changes.
- Understand the manufacturers requirements and policies for assigned brands.
- Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors and Managers.
- Follow-up with sales department to find out about appointment and the outcome.
- Purify and update customer’s changes in database.
- Contact customer base on current marketing incentives.
- Respond to customer website requests (internet inquiries).
- Contact internet clients via email and phone to schedule sales appointments.
- Notify necessary departments of appointments set.
- Follow internet leads from lead receipt to vehicle delivery.
- Forward any customer concerns to the correct department manager and follow up.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Work co-operatively and positively with co-workers and supervisors
- Adhere to the dealership’s sexual harassment / non-discrimination policies and the other policies in the dealership handbook.
- Report any violation of the sexual harassment / non-discrimination policies to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
