What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daily Pay Client Monitor position at Cardinal Community House?
Float staff choose their hours each week from available shifts/projects and float staff manage their own pay, to include accessing funds from hours worked on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. This position is for shift work, which means staff are on shift until relieved. Therefore, attendance, punctuality, and good reliability are musts. Applicants without reliable transportation, regardless of weather, and arrangements to ensure reliability will not be considered.
To be selected, individuals must have two forms of ID and be able to start training in the evenings. Training is paid.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise individuals in a residential setting
- Monitor the safety and well-being of all individuals and the campus
- Provide medication assistance
- Provide intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Conduct client check ins
- Assist with meal service
- Provide transportation in company vehicles, as needed
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in managing daily activities and routines
This position requires individuals who are compassionate, patient, and able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations is essential. Must have a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED.
