Job Summary:
As a Laboratory Educator (Lab Manager), you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a laboratory facility and coordinating educational activities within the lab. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the lab operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including technicians and assistants.
2. Develop and implement laboratory protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines.
3. Coordinate educational activities, such as workshops, training sessions, and student projects.
4. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
6. Collaborate with faculty and researchers to support laboratory experiments and projects.
7. Provide guidance and support to students and researchers on laboratory techniques and protocols.
8. Troubleshoot issues with equipment and experiments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as biology, chemistry, or biochemistry).
2. Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
3. Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
