We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work closely with our experienced therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life for children with special needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct care and support to clients and their families
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client strengths and areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that address client goals and objectives
- Maintaining accurate records of client progress and communicating regularly with therapists and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (NBCOT)
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Texas
