Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, desktop hardware, and network connectivity, ensuring that our users have a seamless experience with their technology.
Duties
- Provide first-level support for technical issues via phone, email, and help desk software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Windows operating systems and various software applications.
- Assist users with desktop support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware.
- Manage incidents using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to track progress and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex technical issues involving firewalls and LAN configurations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and solutions provided for future reference.
- Educate users on best practices for technology use and security measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, particularly Windows environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other help desk ticketing systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with firewall configurations and LAN troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
