We're seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants to deliver exceptional in-home care to our clients. As a Premier Home Health Care Professional, you'll provide compassionate support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties:
- Provide personalized care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, promoting a sense of security and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated literacy and basic arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
