What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiving Professional position at CareConnect?
We need a caring and experienced Caregiving Professional to join our team. As a home health aide with Premier, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Main Duties:
- Deliver personalized care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as mobility and transfers.
- Administer medications according to healthcare professional instructions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Successful completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalent
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills
- Age requirement: 18 years old
