We're seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants in the Staten Island area to deliver exceptional patient care. As a home health aide with Premier, you'll provide vital support that enables clients to stay safe and comfortable in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
