Job Title: Certified Home Health Aide
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of Certified Home Health Aides. As a Certified Home Health Aide with A Village Home Care Agency, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Duties:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care is preferred.
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of South Carolina.
- Own reliable transportation.
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours/week and every other weekend.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of a New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- At least 18 years old.
