We are seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a home health aide with CareConnect, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to our clients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
