We're seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants in Queens to deliver exceptional care that enables our clients to safely stay at home.
About this Role
- Deliver compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to patients in their homes.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patients' safety and well-being.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
What We Require
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
