We're seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants in Queens to deliver exceptional care to our clients. As a home health aide with CareConnect, you will be the heart of our client's care, providing support that enables them to stay safe at home.
Duties:
- Provide personalized care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
