What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premier Home Health Aide position at CareConnect?
CareConnect is a national leader in home care, and we're looking for certified home health aides to be at the heart of our clients' care.
We provide exceptional care that our clients rely on to stay safe at home. As a home health aide with Premier, you will assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also help with mobility and transfers, administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
To ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, you will maintain a tidy living space, perform light housekeeping duties, and cook simple meals as needed. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
