TITLE: Career and Tech. - HVAC-R/Plumbing Instructor Anticipated Opening 2025-2026
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month
REPORTS TO: Career & Tech Building Principal
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: Provide training to juniors and seniors with classroom instruction, project-based learning, and hands-on skills that would prepare students to be college and career-ready in electrical trades.
- Communicate with parents, teachers, school counselors, and others involved in the student's education.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and work sites
- Monitor student's academic progress including, but not limited to, progress/marking period grades, attendance, hands-on performance skills
- Implement 504 plans and IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
- Keep current with changes and developments in electrical industries
- Other responsibilities as determined by the CTE Principal
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years experience in HVAC-R/Plumbing trades (commercial, residential).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Have or be eligible for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration 7-12 Career & Technical Education certification.
Salary : $54,357 - $81,697
