Job Summary:
This role involves teaching juniors and seniors in a classroom setting, focusing on hands-on skills development that prepares students for college and career readiness in electrical trades.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents, teachers, school counselors, and other stakeholders involved in student education.
- Maintain discipline in classrooms and work sites.
- Monitor student progress, including grades, attendance, and hands-on performance skills.
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans for students with diverse learning needs.
- Stay current with developments in electrical industries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CTE Principal.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in HVAC-R/Plumbing trades, preferably in commercial or residential settings.
Minimum Requirements:
Holding or being eligible for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration 7-12 Career & Technical Education certification is mandatory.
