Industry leader identifying a Controller for their manufacturing operation. Strong background in Accounting and Finance gained in manufacturing environment.

Controller Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide the accounting team, improving their performance.
• Review financial data and create reports.
• Ensure proper accounting practices are followed.
• Assist with audits.
• Manage month-end closing processes and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain financial records.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting functions.
• Manage accounting policies and procedures.
• Support business operations from an accounting perspective.
• Help with financial decision-making.
• Mentor and develop team members.

Controller Skills & Knowledge:

• Degree in Accounting or similar field.
• 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with SOX compliance, inventory, payroll tax, and ERP systems.
• Strong process improvement and change management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
