What You’ll Own & Crush
- Lead & Execute – Oversee an accounting clerk while rolling up your sleeves to handle journal entries, invoicing, payables, purchasing, and reconciliations.
- Financial Strategy & Reporting – Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing strategic insights to leadership.
- Public Accounting Expertise – Leverage your 2 years in public accounting to enhance internal controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy.
- Operational Efficiency – Implement best practices to optimize accounting functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Cross-Functional Impact – Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders to support business growth and financial health.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus, but not required).
- 2 years of public accounting experience – you know GAAP inside and out!
- Strong technical skills – journal entries, AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and purchasing.
- Analytical mindset – ability to interpret financials and provide actionable insights.
- Hands-on leadership – manage an accounting clerk while staying in the trenches yourself.
