Job Description:
The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and shipping Beckman Echo systems.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Production Team located in San Jose, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping
Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems
Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position
Associates degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience
Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline
Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.
Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
