This role is responsible for managing an assigned group of bank and corporate clients to provide seamless policy
and benefit plan administration for a wide variety of non-qualified plans. This position is the primary point of
contact for plan sponsors and participants and is accountable for producing key client reports and deliverables
with support from team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Client Relationship Manager to lead portions of client meetings/calls regarding day-to-day
    client deliverables; Act as lead on client calls and meetings
  • Contribute to projects for improving services, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation
  • Use problem solving skills, and in-depth product/benefit plan knowledge to successfully arrive at
    solutions that resolve complex client issues
  • Identify customer expectations and develop strong working relationships
  • Analyze and solve errors related to client reporting, such as fund allocation/performance, insurance cash
    values, and nonqualified benefit plan deferral source processing issues
  • Oversee asset and liability management for clients by preparing asset and liability comparison
    reconciliation reports
  • Manage plan sponsor and benefit plan participant requests
  • Ensure high quality, prompt services for scheduled deliverables to meet customer expectations,
    including but not limited to:
    • Corporate benefit accounting reports, participant benefit statements, benefit plan payment
      calculations, FICA taxable income reports, life insurance plan imputed income reports, insurance
      policy cash values, compliance reviews, funding adequacy reports, and trust reconciliations
  • Prepare benefit plan enrollment materials for executive-level participants
  • Audit other team members’ client deliverables to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Monitor internal and external requests for timeliness and accuracy, and assist in analyzing and solving
    errors related to insurance policy values and benefit plan reporting
  • Coordinate and prepare premium billings and service fee invoices
  • Oversee life insurance policy administration and transaction processing, including analyzing insurance
    cash values for accuracy, cash value fund rebalancing, policy surrenders and exchanges, face amount
    changes, and death claims
  • Regularly draft and deliver professional correspondence to clients, plan participants, insurance carriers,
    vendors, fund managers, Member Firm advisors, and internal teams
  • Deliver expected quality control standards by auditing work, mitigating risks, and following process
    controls
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, financial professionals, and internal service
    team members; Work closely with internal and external partners including Client Relationship
    Managers, actuaries, technology and operations staff and carrier partners
  • Assist with other special projects and duties as assigned
  • Assist with training new associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, General Business or related field
    preferred
  • 4 years of professional experience in the finance or retirement industry, preferably with 1 years
    experience in non-qualified benefit plan administration or insurance policy administration
  • Proven ability to manage workflow in order to meet service requirements and maintain composure
    while managing multiple competing deadlines
  • Currently possess or able to obtain life and health license, FINRA Series 6, and 63 within 2 years
  • Intermediate understanding of life insurance concepts and analysis
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with Access
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity to, and awareness of, confidentiality, compliance, and regulatory
    requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to a
    non-technical audience
  • Demonstrates ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal and external partners
  • Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a member of the team.

Compensation and Benefits:

 

Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
You will also be eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.

Job Conditions & Environment:

  • This position is based on-site at our offices in Uptown at the Quad in Dallas, TX with the
    flexibility to work one day remotely
  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Travel up to 5% of the time
  • Extensive use of PC’s, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
  • Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
