Job Summary
CARFAX is seeking a Senior Associate General Counsel to join our team. This role will provide employment law advice and counseling to CARFAX leadership and the Human Resources team on a broad range of issues, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, wage and hour requirements, terminations, internal investigations, compensation, benefits, privacy, immigration, and employee classification. You will also be responsible for drafting and refining employment-related documents and agreements, advising on internal investigations, and partnering with Human Resources on building processes for ensuring proper and consistent application of federal and state laws, rules and regulations, as well as CARFAX policies, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Providing employment law advice and counseling to CARFAX leadership and the Human Resources team.
- Drafting and refining employment-related documents and agreements.
- Advising on internal investigations, partnering with investigators, reviewing investigation debriefs and reports, and advising on investigation processes and training programs.
- Partnering with Human Resources on building processes for ensuring proper and consistent application of federal and state laws, rules and regulations, as well as CARFAX policies, processes, and procedures.
- Supervising compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and CARFAX policies.
- Monitoring legislation, regulations, case law, government enforcement activities, and emerging trends in labor and employment law to proactively provide advice to CARFAX leadership and the Human Resources team.
