Direct Support Professional

Caring Concierge is URGENTLY hiring an energetic caregiver who is a patient person with a kind heart to provide one on one care to a male individual who has developmental delays. The caregiver will support the individual in both the community and his home setting, with focus on ensuring his safety and well-being while engaging in fun and meaningful experiences to get him “moving & shaking”.

Part time hours needed:

Friday 12:00am - 8:00am

Saturday 12:00am - 8:00am

Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Duties include:

· Develop a meaningful relationship with the individual.

· Companionship and conversation.

· Accompanying individual to recreational activities such as swimming, window shopping, and sporting events.

· Physical fitness activities such as walks, Kubota rides, being outside and going to the gym.

· Planning, organizing, implementing, and managing meaningful activities that meets the specific needs and interest of the individual.

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities strongly preferred.
• Must like to be active and do fun things.
• Punctuality and reliability a must.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification required before start of employment.
