Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with expertise in Netsmart and QuickBooks to join our team. This role involves managing payroll processing, accurate billing, and financial reconciliations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Netsmart and QuickBooks, strong analytical skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. The candidate will also need to be knowledgeable in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Managing day to day accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare payroll information accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize Netsmart and QuickBooks for payroll, accounting, and billing operations, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring alignment with client contracts and agreements.
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing or payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and billing processes.
- Monitor and report on financial metrics, including payroll expenses, billing efficiency, and revenue trends.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process Accounts payable.
- Track and manage accounts receivable aging and collect on balances as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles, preferably in a home care or related industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, billing processes, and financial reconciliation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Home Care a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience in Netsmart
