Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Dealership Parts Driver and Shipping/Receiving Coordinator. This multifaceted role involves efficiently delivering automotive parts and managing shipping/receiving activities at our dealership. Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Deliveries:
- Safely transport automotive parts to and from the dealership and designated suppliers.
- Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer and dealership needs.
- Shipping and Receiving
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of automotive parts, verifying accuracy against packing slips and invoices.
- Manage the organization and storage of incoming parts within the dealership.
- Checking in the daily stock order/ tire orders
- Monitoring bin check for accuracy of part inventory.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in loading and unloading parts, verifying accuracy against delivery documents.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and inventory, utilizing dealership management software.
- Helping with Warranty Portal part returns
- Making sure the Warranty scrap list is up to date with scrap parts being disposed properly.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dealership staff, suppliers, and customers to address any delivery-related issues.
- Adherence to Regulations: - Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of oneself and others on the road.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to the delivery and handling of automotive parts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience in parts delivery or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy automotive parts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
