We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee our customers’ projects from initial order through project completion. The ideal candidate will have experience scheduling project activities, coordinating information exchange between customers and internal departments, and facilitating the costing and payment of projects. This role requires a commitment to consistently complete project responsibilities in a timely, efficient, and profitable manner.

We are a family owned, custom surface manufacturer in Greensboro, NC. We build countertops, reception desks, showers, furniture pieces, and more for a variety of customers from your neighbors down the street to local hospitals to even professional sports stadiums. Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for customers and internal departments. This means promptly answering and responding to phone calls, emails, and texts from them throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Securing critical project information necessary for the successful completion of each project. This includes but is not limited to sink models and specifications, material and customer selections, project timing, equipment or related service considerations, radius details, etc.
- Verifying that project information is accurate and up to date by updating project documentation in our industry specific ERP Software and then communicating that updated information to customers and sales team members.
- Scheduling project template times with customers.
- Reviewing the after-template results and updating job scope accordingly.
- Communicating changes or needs with customer point of contacts.
- Making sure that our production shops are informed of any out of the ordinary needs for a project and then supplying those shops with project packets that include all necessary information in order for them to make the finished goods.
- Making sure that our installers are informed of any out of the ordinary needs for a project and then supplying them with project packets that include all necessary information in order for them to successfully install the finished goods.
- Communicating with internal teams to ensure that any items or information needed for the project can be obtained and accounted for to ensure the project is completed on time. This includes being available to our installers when they are on site and need help solving a problem that may have occurred during installation.
- Compiling billing paperwork for submission to our accounting team so they can accurately and efficiently invoice customers for our work.
- Additional duties as instructed by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with customers and various departments within the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good with technology and a willingness to learn new technologies as needed. We recently implemented a new industry specific ERP that will be the backbone of what you do.
- A collaborative, customer focused, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Typical Work Hours: 7:30AM – 4:30PM
