Job Overview
As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for continually improving guest and employee satisfaction. This will involve interacting with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels, and overall satisfaction while providing feedback to employees, based on observation of service behaviors as well as handling guest problems and complaints effectively.

Duties

  • · Functioning in place of the Front Office Manager in his/her absence

· Communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the Front Office goals to produce desired results

· Directing and working with managers and employees on a daily basis

· Participating in the development and implementation of corrective action plans based on review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results

· Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person

· Analyzing information, and evaluating results to choose the best solution to solve problems

· Informing and/or updating the management, peers and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner

· Communicating critical information from pre- and post-convention meetings to the Front Office staff

· Establishing and maintaining open collaborative relationships with employees

· Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work

· Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others in a professional, effective and timely manner

· Implementing the customer recognition/service program, communicating and ensuring the process

· Ensuring compliance with all Front Office policies, standards and procedures

· Monitoring adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates

· Ensuring that company policy and procedures are administered fairly and equally

· Acknowledging, in a timely fashion, employees who are part of a guest’s positive experience and mentioned in comment cards and guest letters

· Providing excellent customer service by being readily available to and approachable for all team members and guests

· Communicating property rules and regulations via the employee handbook

· Performing other duties assigned on an as needed basis

Skills

  • Proficiency in and Google Suite applications.
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in managing file systems.
  • Familiarity with phone systems to ensure effective communication.
  • Previous or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
