WAREHOUSE INVENTORY MANAGER
Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Manager to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in receiving, processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring orders are going out for deliveries in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.
- Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.
- Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.
- Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.
- Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.
- Assist the Store Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.
- Ensure procedures for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.
- Assist in deliveries when necessary
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills Required:
- Very organized, able to maintain accurate records of inventory.
- Computer knowledgeable and able to operate Inventory Tracking Software
- Promoting and ensuring safety as a priority.
- Ensure timely shipping and receiving.
- Staging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Able to read shop tickets, know what projects are going on and where they are.
- Prior flooring covering (and/or floor covering materials handling) experience is a plus.
- Forklift experience.
- Prior driving history.
- Clean driving history.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Proven excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintain a high attention to detail.
- Proven strong written and verbal communication skills.
