CE is seeking an experienced Outside Sales/Account Manager for Dallas, TX.
The Account Manager is the primary customer contact for commercial, institutional, educational and hospitality accounts. This role is responsible for increasing share of wallet on assigned accounts along with business development of new accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate sales related to HVAC replacement and retrofit equipment, system upgrade products, aftermarket parts, supplies and accessories in an assigned territory
- Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial, institutional, educational, hospitality maintenance & purchasing departments and service contractors, helping to develop solutions, closing sales and ensuring repeat business.
- Analyze the territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs
- Develop and implement account penetration strategies to include regular business reviews for key customers to maximize sales
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly functional in a team environment

- Profit driven. Seeks ways to improve sales and increase margins through consultative selling
- Ability to present an effective sales presentation, both written and verbal
- Must be able to travel up to 75%
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or similiar.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent commercial sales experience.
- Demonstrated performance history in sales and/or new market development.
- Experience working with organizational purchasing and maintenance points of contact.
- Self-motivated, possessing a high energy level and a desire to achieve goals beyond what is required.
- Strong business/problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Prior commercial sales experience is required.
- Knowledge of HVAC, equipment parts and supplies is a plus.
- PC literacy required (Microsoft products).
- Previous experience utilizing a CRM is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time.
