POSITION SUMMARY
Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities, establishing and nurturing owner and strategic partner relationships, and having influence over decisions for the benefit of CDCC.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain client and strategic partner relationships
- Collect information regarding potential opportunities and project leads
- In depth knowledge of CDCC’s people, services, and processes
- Reporting within Business Development, Marketing, and Division meetings
- Go/No Go management
- Owner debriefing management
- Attend conferences, trade associations, and company events
- Support Marketing in proposal development
- Support Operations in interview development
- Support Marketing in letters of recommendation management
- Build job knowledge by participating in internal and external educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- Perform miscellaneous duties assigned for the betterment of CDCC

WORKING CONDITIONS
- 60% of responsibilities will be outside of the office. 40% of responsibilities will take place within the office.
- There will be a lot of day trips for meetings within driving distance of the office. Occasionally, overnight travel will be required for extended market reach and trade conferences.
- Sometimes evening and weekend responsibilities will occur.
- Many conditions will be within small, medium, and sometimes large meeting settings.
- Reports directly to the Director of BD, with regular interaction with Marketing, Finance, and the Executive Team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not necessarily required
- Sales Experience
- Related Market Experience is preferred
