This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development & Projects Manager at Germany based DREWES Group for their growing branch in Savannah, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the logistics sector to expand the company’s portfolio
- Oversee and manage ongoing logistics projects with main focus on oversized and heavy cargo, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget
- Maintain project timelines and budget adherence, while adapting to changing project needs
- Coordinate with global teams to align on shared goals and drive project success
- Build and maintain close customer relationships, delivering high-quality customer care and service
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in business development and project logistics, break bulk shipping, abnormal haulage, with a solid understanding of the project logistics and shipping industries
- Proven skills in negotiation, communication, and strategic problem-solving
- Strong analytical abilities, with expertise in project management and budgeting in the break bulk logistics sector
- Creative and strategic thinker, ability to find innovative solutions
- Expanded network for suitable logistical partners in the break bulk industry
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a structured approach to managing multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to build positive client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- German or Spanish language skills are beneficial
