Job Summary
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing quality control processes and operational efficiencies across both the warehouse and customer service teams. This role requires a detail-oriented problem solver with strong leadership and interpersonal skills who can manage returns, inventory discrepancies, expedited shipments, employee training, and performance scorecards. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties
- Oversee and optimize warehouse and call center quality control procedures in a small-team environment.
- Manage all aspects of returns, ensuring efficient processing and resolution of customer concerns.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, collaborating with finance and merchandising as needed.
- Coordinate expedited shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Develop and implement training programs for warehouse and customer service teams.
- Create and maintain performance scorecards to track and enhance employee efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze quality control metrics, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between warehouse and customer service teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
- Enforce safety and compliance standards in the warehouse environment.
- Lead by example to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize space utilization and inventory accuracy.
- Handle escalated issues and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
- Ensure incoming goods are received within 24 hours by the Warehouse staff.
Qualifications
Education - High School Diploma/GED required
Experience
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, customer service, or quality control.
- At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with NetSuite WMS or similar inventory management software preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
