Description
Carry-On Trailer in Missouri Valley, IA has an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator
$1000 RETENTION BONUS AND $750 REFERRAL BONUS
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials.
- Move finished trailers and material around our facility.
- The ability to work as a team, follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required
- Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure
- Must have some forklift experience.
