HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT :
As the Development Manager, ERP OMS, you'll oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery of ERP OMS technology solutions. We're seeking someone with experience in the Supply Chain or Retail domain, expertise in Agile methodologies, and hands-on proficiency with Oracle DB (PL / SQL and SQL). Your technical expertise, combined with your leadership capabilities, will be key to delivering innovative, scalable, and high-performance solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Order Management & Financial Systems, manages a team of 4 people and is based in our Buckhead office (2-3 days a week on-site).
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication (15%) :
Communicate regularly with business leaders and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, timelines, and any roadblocksPrepare and present clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation on the progress and success of development initiativesSolution Design & Architecture (20%) :
Lead the design and architecture of solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business needsCollaborate with developers to create scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions, leveraging best practices and modern technologiesSolution Development & Management (40%) :
Lead and manage a team of software developers, to deliver high-quality IT solutions on time and within budgetOwn the full development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business goalsFoster an Agile mindset across the development team, including Scrum, Kanban Waterfall and other Agile frameworks to ensure a flexible and iterative approach to development while adapting to project needs and maintaining continuous improvementCollaborate with stakeholders (business, product owners, etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical solutionsManage multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and ensuring timely delivery of projects in an Agile environmentRisk Management & Quality Assurance (15%) :
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that solutions are delivered on schedule with the highest quality standardsOversee testing strategies, ensuring that development solutions meet functional, performance, and security requirementsEnsure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls, internal audits, and Service Level Agreements (SLA) to guarantee regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across all development processesTechnical Leadership & Mentoring (10%) :
Provide technical direction, mentorship, and coaching to team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growthEnsure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycleTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the development / production stackWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF :
Must have :
In-depth expertise in the Supply Chain or Retail industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific software systems and business processesProven track record in end-to-end development management, overseeing the entire process from requirement capturing through solution design, development, and successful delivery5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing development teams within an Agile environment5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, functions, etc.), as well as proficiency in advanced programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScriptProven experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), XML, and system integration, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability between systems and platformsHands on Advanced PL / SQL programming experience is a must, including data objects and code performance tuning with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issuesStrong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and associated tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, VersionOne), with the ability to apply the most appropriate methodology based on project needs and requirementsProven ability to lead and inspire development teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver successful projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred :
