Senior Area Manager, Fragrance

The Senior Area Manager, Fragrance will lead the retail & operational marketing execution for the fragrance category in Latin America and Mexico for Boutiques, Domestic Markets & Travel Retail. They are accountable for executing the strategic action plan for commercial performance and the operational execution for fragrance in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead retailization & execution of operational marketing strategies
- Ensure the consistency between all markets/networks, execute and lead the operational strategy in the region.
- Drive retail excellence and productivity, implement and follow up on retail & marketing KPIs to maximize business performance and drive target achievement
- Ensure the execution of all planned in-store marketing activities, animations and events
- Execution of the retail acceleration plan in the region is the #1 priority.
- Follow up and monitor action plan by market, distributor/agent.
- Responsible for brand image, sales performances & profitability monitoring in retail, travel retail, domestic flagships and top doors.
- Responsible of controlling investment at a local / Regional level according to the WW guidelines. With your direct reports, you challenge the ROI of the investment plan and propose new innovative ideas to develop Sales and Image over the coming years.
- Responsible to build strengthened partnerships at the POS and local level. Build A&P budget then follow-up and monitoring & Overinvestment negotiation with the partners on a quarterly basis.
- Understand and analyze context to propose commercial opportunities and develop yearly strategic action plans with the partners and boutique managers.
- Follow-up monthly on performance and action plan implementation.
- Responsible to collect & analyze sell-out/sell-in results and implement targets at the local level.
- Monthly report of the results and insights of the region to the Regional Director of Fragrance
- Business Report of the fragrance Business: Sell out figures / KPI’s per key networks
- Build Business Plan, analysis, and update.
- Ensure that partners are current in conjunction with the finance department and payments
- Sanitary Registration: Serve as the liaison between the Maison and the partners
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or International trade required. MBA a plus
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in international sales, retail and/or marketing fields.
- Experience in the Latin America and Caribbean market
- Experience in Fragrances and Luxury Industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, high level of power analytics, especially in Excel.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong knowledge in sales and marketing strategies and techniques, preferable in luxury products.
- Negotiation skills: sell-in, sell-out, spaces, A&P, price structure, distribution contracts.
