We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to lead our organization's operational initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s objectives. (MUST HAVE 3 YEARS HOTEL EXPERIENCE)
- Oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection and reporting.
- Manage investment portfolios and provide insights on fiscal management.
- Ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Supervise general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare financial forecasts to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of clerks and financial professionals, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills.
- Analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in a finance role or similar position within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, including investment management and fiscal oversight.
- Familiarity with accounting standards such as IAS and IFRS is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts receivable processes effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on forecasting and performance analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
