What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Manager position at Cascades Theatrical Company?
The Front of House Supervisor position requires managing front of house duties on all events. This includes managing the volunteers, making sure all housekeeping responsibilities are completed, setting up the bar and concessions, batching tickets and filling in for any missing volunteers. It also involves teaching volunteers on how run our concessions and bar.
Must have an OLCC certificate. The candidate will need to learn our square system and arts people ticketing program.
DUTIES:
Bar and Concessions Management:
- Set-up Bar
- Train new volunteers
- Inventory concessions
- Purchase and pick up items for concessions
- Stock the bar/concessions
- Pick up donations
- Housekeeping for lobby and bathrooms
- Batch tickets
- Answer phone calls, voice messages, take inquiries
- Keep inventory list up-to-date
- Coordinate or communicate with box-office person and/or other volunteers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Age: 21
- OLCC license
- Experience in customer service
- Strong organizations and communication skills and a passion for ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons, volunteers, and staff. Courteous and kind.
- Work hours: show nights typically Thurs - Saturday 6pm-9:30pm & Sunday 12:30pm-3:30pm.
PAY:
- $20 an hour
