SUMMARY: | |
The Engineer Tech III- HVAC/R Specialist is responsible for identifying, repairing, and replacing of worn, non-working or damaged HVAC & Refrigeration equipment; installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading. HVAC and Refrigeration systems and equipment; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are maintained according to departmental standards. Assists other technicians as required.
· Coordinates with assigned lead for the purpose of receiving and completing projects/work orders. · Inspects HVAC & Refrigeration systems and their components (e g. heating units, building exhaust · Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing · Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning & refrigeration systems for · Installs heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to include upgrades. · Fabricates equipment parts for the purpose of meeting specialty needs and/or replacing · Maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. · Prepares written materials (e.g., repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | |
· Must have three years related experience in heating, air conditioning/refrigeration and electrical · Successful completion or continuing education toward license/certification in HVAC/R trade required · Must have additional skilled craft knowledge to include but not limited to plumbing, electrical, · Class II or Universal Refrigerant and recovery Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certificate - | |

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: | |
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License. | |
