Job Summary :
Castalia Systems is seeking a Technical Writer in the Reston, VA area to provide technical assistance for our customer's efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Work closely with all organizational stakeholders and product owners to create and publish various technical and business documents in official agency format to include :
- Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
- Marketing materials
- Executive briefings / slide
- White papers
- Promotional items, videos, posters, briefings, and talking points
- Knowledge of a variety of software applications and tools
- Provide editorial support of publications and products
- Experience in QC / QA of final publication and classification standards as provided by specific organizational and community guidelines.
- Experience in documenting accepted business practices, organizational workflows, and formatting and style standards relevant to the production process.
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; required to communicate with executive level civilian and military management staff on complex technical issues
- Ability to undertake research, identify opportunities from data analysis and present findings in a concise manner to a diverse stakeholder group
- Present data in a professional manner through scorecards, dashboards, and infographics
- Practical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
