The Service Coordinator will work closely with Westphal & Company’s Wisconsin Electrical Service Department. This entry-level position works directly with our customers, Service Electricians, Service Managers, Project Managers and Accounting personnel, to ensure accurate communication and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, contacting the Service Department via phone or electronically.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Classify and prioritize customer inquiries and create Work Orders in our enterprise software system.
- Provide project support for Service Managers and Service Electricians to ensure that all personnel are dispatched and scheduled properly while meeting customers’ expectations.
- Collaborate with Accounting to review work orders and vendor invoices for accuracy while ensuring that customer invoices are sent out accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the Service Department’s marketing and business development program through a variety of tasks focused largely on proposals, marketing collateral, and other communications.
- Leverage technology for efficient task management and documentation.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
- Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Office, general software navigation and willingness to learn the company’s enterprise software.
- Preferred Background:
- Customer service experience preferred
- Technical knowledge or experience in contracting dispatch is preferred but not required.
- No specific education or electrical knowledge is required.
