Catawba Valley Engineering & Testing (CVET) is seeking a full-time dedicated and organized Fleet Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and management of company vehicles. This person will ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, comply with legal and company regulations, and support operational needs. In addition to fleet coordination, this position will handle various administrative tasks, including organizing jobs, overseeing receipts, assisting with invoicing, and supporting other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.

Fleet Management
- Oversee daily operations of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained, insured, and compliant with regulations.
- Track and maintain mileage logs, CDL compliance, and IFTA tax records.
- Ensure tax filings and regulatory paperwork are up to date.
- Maintain necessary records including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and repair documentation.
- Assist drivers with any issues or concerns related to fleet vehicles, routes, safety matters, and insurance claims.
- Track and monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and performance.
- Develop and implement fleet policies to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure fleet drivers adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Oversee compliance with IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) by managing fuel taxes for fleet vehicles.
- Oversee daily operations of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained, insured, and compliant with regulations.

Administrative Support:
- Review and oversee credit card receipts.
- Answer phone and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with invoicing to create efficient and accurate input of job-related expenses and details.
- Create project folders and set up jobs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with overseeing fleet with an understanding of vehicle maintenance, safety, and compliance
- Familiarity with IFTA tax compliance is a plus.
- Managing administrative tasks including invoicing and handling customer inquiries is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred)
