Job Summary: The Bilingual Case Worker will provide essential support to clients by answering information calls, assessing service requests, conducting interviews, and arranging necessary supportive services. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse client base. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a customer service background who is eager to transition into the field of human services.
Responsibilities:
· Answer information calls from the public.
· Assess online requests for services to determine applicant eligibility.
· Conduct client interviews and intakes.
· Provide and arrange for needed supportive services.
· Schedule follow-up or continuing care with a CCSOGA case manager, as needed.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of CCSOGA programming and community resources.
· Document all client interactions in the client database.
· Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Fluency in English and Spanish.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work with diverse populations.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
· Experience in human services or a related field is preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based databases.
