Position Overview
As the Director of the Summer Academy, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing a vibrant summer program that combines faith-based education, fun activities, and childcare services. The program runs from May 27 through August 8. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position and is ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development: Create a well-rounded summer program that incorporates education, faith, and fun.
- Staff Scheduling: Organize and manage a team of enthusiastic workers to ensure the program runs smoothly.
- Activity Planning: Coordinate exciting activities and field trips that engage and inspire children.
- Administrative Duties: Manage tuition payments, registrations, and program logistics.
- Faith Leadership: Serve as a role model of Catholic values, fostering an environment that encourages faith formation.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
- Some training or experience in business, education, early childhood, etc.
- Energetic, motivated, and highly organized.
- Passionate about working with children and providing a safe, nurturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
