Summary
The Health Equity Coordinator is a key team member supporting Catholic Health's grant, outreach, government relations and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging efforts, which all focus on reducing health disparities in our community.
The Health Equity Coordinator exhibits a high degree of integrity and judgement as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to support and grow relationships in the community. The position requires the ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively with leaders, clinicians, front line staff and other internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three (3) years of experience in education, not-for-profits, or public service preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years community outreach experience; strong knowledge of local community
- Track record with organization and event planning
- Comfort with public speaking
- Experience providing administrative support to a team
- Strong Microsoft Office and Internet skills
- Expertise in planning and executing community and sponsorship events
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and compliance administrative skills
- Travel between facilities
- Flexible work schedule including some weekends, evenings
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Normal heat, light, space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
